
Dr. Wesley Mills
Dr. Wesley Mills, a board certified Primary Care and Sports Medicine Physician. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine. Dr. Mills completed his specialty training in Family Medicine at St. Vincent’s Medical Center, Jacksonville, Florida, where he was Chief Resident. He completed his sub-specialty training in Sports Medicine at the Mayo Clinic Jacksonville.
Dr. Mills is an active member of the Duval County Medical Society, Jacksonville Sports Medicine Program, Northeast Florida Medical Society, American Academy of Family Practice, American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, American College of Sports Medicine and the American Medical Association. He has served as the team physician for the Jacksonville Barracudas semi-pro hockey team and the Englewood H.S. football team. Most recently, he was appointed to the St. Luke’s Hospital Medical Staff Executive Committee and is an Adjunct Instructor in Family Medicine at the Mayo Clinic Jacksonville.
Most recently, he opened Mills Primary Care & Sports Medicine, P.A., a Division of St. Vincent’s Primary Care, part of the St. Vincent’s Healthcare System. The office is located at 8075 Gate Parkway West, Suite 202, in Jacksonville. His scope of practice encompasses the treatment and evaluation of all primary care issues and those of a sports medicine and musculoskeletal nature.
Dr. Mills has served on Knots4Kids, Inc.’s board since 2008. Director of Health Education, Dr. Mills teach our young men about exercise and nutrition in the Health Awareness modules. In addition, he is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., and an active member of Bethel Baptist Institutional Church.
